After thirty years, two lost loves meet on a Caribbean beach.
"So, how you are you?"
"Great. Peachy. Wonderful. Couldn't be better. And you?"
"Great. Peachy. Wonderful. Couldn't be better."
Both thought themselves clever lying of their misery in separation desperation. One married, one not - but both suffering the wounds of loneliness.
Each seethed in unison on the flight home.
"Goddammit, God, why can't you find somebody for me! Must I die alone?"
"So, how you are you?"
