Threads: I Saw Her Crying There

We talked for hours but I was careful not to say a thing.

When we met, she knew my unsaid name as I fell to the floor in fetal position under the power of her breath.

On the way back, I made a vow to return so that I never would.

She too blessed herself, breaking the betraying mirror, going her own way, ignoring dire warning of Moses.

Thunderous was this news in Heaven and in morning sun I saw silent leaves dripping sad tears from overnight storm.

"Sleep no more, my love for you won't die."

Threads: God Is A Concept

God ranted to Her marketing team about His losing streak.

"What's the matter with these people I created? Doesn't anyone want to be crucified anymore?"

"Or lead an honest life spent on the street watching their children starve?"

"Or be joyful of the fact that both the innocent and guilty die as the planet is poisoned?"

The marketing angels were unsure of their blessing. "All that's sort of a hard sell. It would help if we had an answer."

"An answer to what?"

"Do You want people to exist?"

Threads: Saruman Syndrome

Saruman Syndrome is my name for an affliction for alleged left-wingers who become right-wingers.

Or, more accurately, get exposed as right wingers.

Few examples are Dennis Miller, Bill Maher, Morning Joe and Mika. They all kissed the ring. But how does this happen?

Simple: a lack of hope. Saruman saw no hope with the rise of Sauron and thus switched sides.

But life is not about worldly success alone. It's about fighting for what's right regardless of the outcome. It makes life worth living

Threads: God Hates Me

I'd had enough: my frustrations, my futility, my finances. "God hates me."

So I fled to the desert in irrational hope. That's when I stepped into the quicksand. "God hates me! I'm being punished!"

Then I saw her standing there, the girl with dangling hair. "If you lay on your back you can float your way out."

"Nothing can save me! God hates me!"

"I don't think it's *God* who hates you."

After she left, I took her advice and escaped. Had she stayed I'd rather of died. Now she's lost to me.
