After reading the Beatitudes I was so full of holy spirit I ran out of my $800k downtown townhouse and found Alfredo, the meekest homeless guy I know.
"Alfredo! You are blessed! One day you'll have a house too!"
But his face screwed up in anguish whereupon he proceeded to kick my shin and knee me in the stomach.
"What about NOW, motherfucker!"
Curled up on the concrete, I surmised perhaps I wasn't so full of holy spirit, after all.
