“I’ve been counting all the fruit flies in the world.”
“Wait? What? Huh?”
“I’m counting fruit flies. They do all sorts of damage.”
“That’s how you want to spend your time?”
“Oh, hell no.”
“Then why do it??”
“I’m hoping it means something to somebody somewhere. I’ve run out of things that mean anything to me.”
“Sounds pretty dubious.”
“I’m going to write an app for it.”
“What if no one cares anyway?"
“Don’t knock my religion! If I’m not useful no one will love me!”
