Whenever I hear a "Past as prologue" argument I stop listening.
A man on drugs OD's but survives. Therefore, it's OK to keep taking drugs even if he OD's because with past as prologue, he will survive.
All events must be placed in context to understand their true meaning. The same event while a nation is in ascent has a different outcome to a nation in descent.
I say this due to committing this transgression tonight.
