Today, I Come To Speak Well Of My Fellow Man

I know what you're thinking: We've been through tough times before. It's all gonna work out in the end. Sure, we might be on the wrong path now but we'll straighten out, just like we've always done before. Have faith! Keep hope alive! Give the world a chance!

We're going to stop this someday. Yay us!

I know what you're thinking: This global warming stuff is bad. But we're gonna lick it and turn dirty air to clean. From China to Mexico to Texas, we will overcome our profit motive around the world and reduce our emissions to zero! You see, it's in mankind's best interest to do this for what means money with no air to breathe? We'll come around and save our environment. I saw a guy recycling aluminum cans today. Fucking A, we're gonna be alright!

Ushering in the era of peace, we are!

I know what you're thinking: War is just a part of life. Every generation has its duty to perform and we want to perform ours! We need to have faith our soldiers are killing the right people and who has the right to question that killing? We can't stick our head in the sand and pretend there are no bad guys out there! It's just a matter of taking them out and when they are all gone we'll be safe and peace will rule the earth!

We're doing the best that can possibly be done!

I know what you're thinking: We have to appeal to human selfishness. It's the enlightened way to go. One thing you can count on: people being greedy! Only naive fools who don't know human nature trust their fellow man to want to be caring and sharing souls. People have to be forced to work or nothing will ever get done! So there's no shame in charging for food, clothing and shelter. The path of human greed is the only available option for a successful society, no other way is possible if we are to survive.

I post this today because of all the haters and pessimists and weak bitch doubters and all the other Chicken Littles running around saying the sky is falling.
