I read the Bond pimps actually got a legit director to besmirch his career for the next film.
The "One man saving the world" bit is beyond exhausted. Yes, they'll keep trundling that out to the mouth-breathers as long as it makes money. And it will be remembered as rubbish.
As I've said before, the actual battle in this world is the one for self-respect. Not a person on this planet has guts to write a Bond as a person of self-respect. But as Broccoli figured out, to do otherwise is pointless.
