First they came for the Poor, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not Poor.

Then they came for the Immigrants, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not an Immigrant.

Then they came for the Reporters, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Reporter.

Then they came for the Liberals, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not Liberal.

Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me.

Can we truly say we defeated Germany if we become Germany?
